Welcome! I'm Kaley Klasson and have dedicated my life's work to sharing yoga and wellness with the world. My mission is to invite yoga, health and mindfulness into people's lives in a way leaves them feeling strong, inspired and clear. I am amazed by how my everyday unfolds when I align my thoughts, body and energy in a way that serves my highest intentions, and am passionate about sharing this transformative lifestyle with others.
I am a 500hr E-RYT Baptiste yoga teacher based out of Austin, Texas. At fifteen years old, my first connection to yoga was rooted in it's physicality as it left my body feeling strong and free. As I entered college my relationship with yoga deepened an I unearthed the power of my breath and meditation. After being diagnosed with Graves' Disease, an autoimmune disorder, while a sophomore in college I used the healing benefits of yoga and wellness to transform my life. This transformation redirected my focus, saved my life and shifted my way of being. I felt immediately called to share the teachings and practices of yoga with the world. In 2009, at nineteen years old, I completed my first 200 hour training and started teaching yoga while also earning a double major in English and Public Relations from St. Edward's University. Since then, I've studied with dozens of teachers and participated in thousands of hours of training. I now lead workshops, facilitate programs and teach public classes exclusively at Wanderlust Yoga Austin. My classes are marked by a balance of structured flow and inspired focus with an intention to always leave my students feeling joyful. As a teacher, I'm passionate about purposeful sequencing, empowered exploration, intelligent alignment and soulful reflection. Outside of the studio, I teach weekly private clients where I combine the healing benefits of meditation, yoga, self-inquiry and Aryuveda into their daily dynamic lives. I have worked closely with dozens of collegiate, professional and olympic level athletes and am a contributor to Yoga Revolutionaries and Yoga Hawaii Magazine. I also collaborate often with the outstanding non-profits: Africa Yoga Project and Off the Mat Into the World.
WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY
I practice yoga everyday, but when I'm not on my mat or teaching yoga I still crave movement. I love to spin, run, dance, box and swim. Some of the happiest moments of my entire life were spent drinking a butter coffee at Picnik with my man, surfing the south shore of Oahu (my second home) with friends, or traveling to new places and writing about my experience. I'm most inspired in nature and love to be outdoors. I am beyond grateful to be surrounded by wonderful friends, empowering coworkers and a loving family. The intrinsic blessings and benefits of yoga changed my life and I am honored to share these with you!
